It isn’t uncommon to hear godly Christians refer to their love for the Jewish people. Paul’s love, though, was so intense and so earnest that he was willing to go to Hell for eternity if it would result in the salvation of the Jewish people. He wrote, “For I could wish that myself were accursed from Christ for my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh” (9:3).
